5-Day Tanzania Safari: Arusha | Tarangire | Lake Manyara | Ngorongoro

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet briefing by your professional English-speaking driver guide and drive towards Arusha town for overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch and upon arrival commence a full-day game drive. With its rich vegetation, baobabs, and big acacia trees, Tarangire is famous for its scenic landscapes. Each year, a massive migration of wildlife occurs here, featuring impalas, giraffes, waterbucks, hartebeests, elands, zebras, and wildebeests, thriving among the umbrella acacias and baobab forests. Later, proceed for dinner and overnight at Hotel.

After a leisurely breakfast, drive towards Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for hot lunch at the lodge. Post lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The park lies between Lake Manyara’s shores and the towering escarpment wall of the East African Rift Valley. Its grassy lakeshore is home to large herds of buffalo, flamingos, and hippos. After a day of exploration, proceed for dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Enjoy an early breakfast, then drive with packed lunch to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend 2,000 ft below the Crater floor for a half-day Crater tour. Known as the 8th Wonder of the World, the Crater features diverse ecosystems — grasslands, swamps, lakes, rivers, and woodlands — supporting a vast resident population of wildlife including elephants, buffalo, monkeys, hippos, wildebeest, black rhinos, hyenas, and lions. After a rewarding day, ascend the crater and proceed for dinner and overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Arusha town, arriving in time for hot lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Post lunch, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for drop-off.
